Did you know that driving without a valid MOT certificate could cost up to £2,500 in penalties (dependent on the type of vehicle you are driving). Stanley Green Service & MOT Centre offer MOT's for both cars and light commercial vehicles.

If your car does fail it's MOT we will ensure that our qualified mechanics will explain what is at fault and provide a detailed breakdown of how much it will cost and are happy to answer any questions or queries you might have and if you book in for a re-test within 24 hours then it is free of charge.

MOT Testing

An MOT test certificate confirms that at the time of the MOT testing, without dismantling the vehicle, it met the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law. It does not mean that the vehicle is roadworthy for the life of the certificate and the MOT test does not cover the condition of the engine, clutch or gearbox.

In order to have your vehicle MOT tested you must bring along your vehicles V5 document (log book). The list below shows the components that will be inspected to ensure they meet the minimum MOT testing requirements by law.
